OneShare Health Reviews
OneShare Health is a Christian-based health sharing program, established in 2018 in Irving, TX. With roots in the Anabaptist faith, over $86 million in medical expenses have been shared among members since the ministry’s inception. Currently, OneShare Health programs are only available to residents outside of NM, MA, MD, VT, PA, and WA.
OneShare Health is not a health insurance plan and is ACA-exempt. Members voluntarily contribute to a pool of funds to help pay each other’s medical bills. There are three membership tiers with monthly contributions starting at $115. Eligible medical costs incurred are reimbursed to members based on program tiers.
Program Options
Currently, OneShare Health offers three program tiers:
- OneShare Catastrophic program: starting at $115 per month
- OneShare Classic program: starting at $154 per month
- OneShare Complete program: starting at $239 per month
The total monthly contribution is based on the membership program, the number of members in the household, and the age of the oldest member in the program.
Discounts are offered on vision, dental, lab work, diabetic care and supplies, hearing services, prescriptions, and vitamins and supplements.

What's Covered
OneShare Health works with the First Health provider network, which is a third-party network of providers that includes medical care facilities and professional providers across all 50 states.
All OneHealth Share programs cover 24-hour telehealth, in-network preventive services, behavioral health care, diagnostic imaging, emergency room and hospital visits, prescription discounts, with a $1 million maximum lifetime sharing limit. Higher tiers also include primary care physician visits, urgent care clinic visits, and maternity care. Services may vary by state.
Pre-existing medical conditions are defined by OneShare Health as any illness or injury that requires treatment, care, or services within two years prior to the effective date of the program, and they are not covered under OneHealth Share programs. However, routine maintenance may be available on the Classic and Complete Programs for type I and II diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid issues.
Membership discount services are provided by Careington, a third-party network that typically offers 15% to 80% discounts on prescriptions, 20% to 40% discounts on vision services, 20% to 60% discounts on dental services, and 20% to 40% discounts on diabetic supplies. You can find out more about pricing and sample providers on the Careington website.

Positive
I just recently bought a plan with One Share Health. The whole process was easy and the plans are reasonable. The representatives were really nice and helpful.
One share has helped me through my health journey. I have been diagnosed with cancer and my surgeon and the hospitalhas been able to work with them since Onshare partners with First Health network. I would not change my health coverage with any program out there. Thank you one share!
Negative
Stay away, it’s a scam. I spent 4 months paying for nothing, gladly I canceled it quick. Not even a healthcare but a discount card. Self pay is so much cheaper. Tried to trick me by waiting for 3 months before I even allowed to visit a doctor for annual check up. Give me a stress sickness instead of helping. I support all of you who gave 1 star.
