Membership Requirements Faith-based health sharing programs also differ from traditional health insurance plans in the simple fact that they are designed for Christians. To become a member of a Christian health sharing plan, members agree to be part of a supportive community of people who share a similar faith, beliefs and values and who place a priority on religious freedoms.
